SILVER, GOLD AND A GIVEAWAY

I once read on some news blog before about whether you should mix silver and golds when it comes to jewellery. I don’t remember if they said mixing was good or bad, and I don’t think it should be either obviously. Personally, I generally don’t really mix my silvers and golds unless I go all out and mix it up on fingers, wrist and neck. My blog was once quite popular for my over-accessorising with serious piles of bracelets, rings and chunky necklaces (thanks to Givenchy’s intense necklace layering in 2010) but I have since toned down my accessorising, opting for more refined pieces made of higher quality metals, purging my collection of the years of cheap skin-staining jewellery from Forever21, etc. Above are most of the pieces that I’ve had on heavy rotation for the last year or so. Still working on refining my collection a bit more, but right now this is the perfect mix of silvers and golds that I wear everyday.
